Last night, Zinc updated itself, I thought, before it started up. Then, after updating, it goes to a black screen telling me that "The latest version of Zinc requires an update to the core Zinc platform." The only option is a large "Update" button. No cancel, no continue, no nothing. So I clicked the large "Update" button, and a box comes up that says it is checking for updates. After a second or two, the search completes telling me that there are no new updates available. OK... I figure you guys just didn't get everything up to the server at the same time. So I waited until tonight (just now) to try again. I click the large "Update" button again. Now that same box pops up telling me that it is checking for updates with a progress bar that rapidly goes from one side to the other. After several minutes, it finally came back with this:

Zinc could not be updated because:
AUS: Update XML File Malformed (200)

Hi Derek,

The code is trying to update the Firefox that is built into Zinc for windows. The new zinc extensions require the latest Firefox. We should be able to fix the upgrade pretty quickly.

Alternatively you could download a complete installation from:

The update of Firefox should be working now. If you find this error on the upgrade please let us know the version of Firefox that you are running.

Hi.. Thank you for replying. What I did last night after writing this was to just download the latest version off the web site. When I ran that, It uninstalled the previous version before installing the new one. That worked perfectly. Glad to say I am back up and watching Hitchcock.... Thank you.
