Netflix and the Back Button Caper
I'm using a MCE remote control and I have remapped a couple of keys using LMRemoteKeyMap. When I am watching a movie through Netflix, the back button on the remote (whose keymap I haven't touched) doesn't do anything, nor does the backspace button on the keyboard. I have to use a mouse to click the back button on the Zinc toolbar.
Is this a known problem or just one of my own? Thanks...
I have the same problem when using firefox and having a flash video open to full screen and I also have the problem in Zinc. I wonder if its a firefox issue...
In my case, I am running the stand-alone application...
I know this is an old topic, but I was having issues with this as well and it was frustrating me. So far, Zinc.tv is exactly what I've been looking for and runs much smoother on my older boxes than XBMC or Boxee.
However, I really liked the navigation feature of Boxee that allows you to use the right-click to navigate "back" throughout the menus. I downloaded and installed the freeware X-Mouse Button Control (http://www.highrez.co.uk/downloads/XMouseButtonControl.htm) that allows you to remap mouse control based on what program is currently running. I set up zv.exe to map the "Back" command to the right-click and everything works just peachy (even Netflix). I did notice that full-screen Hulu still has issues, but I'm looking into that (have to hit escape or click out of full-screen, then right-click works again).
Hope that helps someone else!

I've noticed this issue too. It appears that there is more than one actual backspace command. I'm guessing there's a difference between HID and keyboard shortcut equivalents. I'm not able to use back button on certain screens from my remote, but they work just fine from my keyboard.
This problem isn't unique to the back button.
