Where does Zinc keep track of known file extensions?

Hi all,

Zinc is a great product. But in Local Content, it's only finding my .avi's, .mpg's, and .mp4's.

I'd like it to find and play my .tivo files. I have TiVo Desktop installed, so the CoDec's are there.

I also have ripped a few of my DVD's to the hard drive using DVDFab. It even created the dvdxml files for me. I'd like Zinc to find those dvdxml files, or at least the .ifo or .vob files.

I've installed the VLC 1.02 mozilla plugin, so that part is taken care of.

Where can I configure that information? I've looked in about:config.

Thanks, Phil

Check about:plugins and see if VLC is registered to handle the .tivo extension. That's where we get our extension compatibility information from. I'm not familiar with playing .tivo files, but I found this site with google: http://tivo-vlc.sourceforge.net/ Have you tried installing that? It might get VLC to register itself as a .tivo handler.
