Mac OS 10.6.2--Zinc won't install

Something about a malformed install.rdf, then a blank browser window comes up.
Works fine on my other machine, at 10.5.8.
Any ideas?

Yes, I downloaded it twice more that same night (Friday? Saturday?) with the same results.
Then I downloaded it Sunday on my 10.5.8 machine, and it installed perfectly.
I realized that my 10.6.2 machine was set up with a standard user account; I went ahead and made that account an administrator and tried installing again, but still no joy.

Hmm, interesting.
Well, one possible way around this, if you have the equipment, is to copy the entire Zinc.app file (really a directory) from your 10.5.8 machine onto the 10.6.2 machine. If it still doesn't work after doing that, then at least we can narrow down the problem.
I think we'll need some logs to get a better idea of what's going on. Could you go to the FAQs section of the site and follow the instructions under, "How do I turn on debug logging?". Then just start up Zinc, get that error, and then quit.
When you send the log to the support email, please include your forum username, and if you could also include the exact error you're getting about install.rdf, that would be most excellent.

It sounds like your dmg file may be a bit messed up. Can you try re-downloading the installer from our site and trying again?
