I have this set up on dedicated HTPC. It passes the graphics card test fine. It navigates the internet without any issues as well. But whenever I start the program it always takes a long time to get anything to show up on the main screen or any screen after that. I have tried the stand alone version and the Mozilla version as well.
I installed the program on other PC on the same network and they load very quickly. The difference in time is day and night. On the dedicated HTPC it takes 5 minutes or so to load as opposed to a Laptop that takes seconds.
Are there any settings to check or change? The only difference is in the video cards one had a ATI and the other is Nvidia. Could that be it?
Any ideas or things to check would be great. I did do a search on the forum and google but did not find anything.

HTPC is running Windows 7 Professional, McAfee with Gigabyte AMD motherboard (GA-MA785GM-US2H) on board ATI 4200 video card with 4Gb of Ram and a AMD Athlon II X3 425 Rana 2.7GHz Processor

Ah ha!!! I was running the latest driver but AMD in their infinite wisdom released another one, 10.3 Hotfix. And for some odd reason it did not Auto update but I am not sure if catalyst is suppose to.
Now all is well.
Thanks for the help and sometimes it really is the simplist fix.
Usually, the first thing we suggest in cases like this is to check for video card driver updates. If you're already up to the latest version, then we'll try some other diagnostics.
